Give yourself a weekend for meditation — a weekend to still the mind.
This two-day retreat is intended for people who have already taken part in introductions and would like to deepen and expand their practice. However, we are flexible in our design so that people who have a basic knowledge of meditation can also participate.
This silent retreat is non-intensive; the simple and relaxed schedule allows to settle your mind while at the same time maintaining a constant awareness on your every activity.
The retreat offers a review of basic meditation methods such as sitting position, relaxation, breath awareness and counting the breath, as well as the method of “silent illumination”. Continuous silence. Sitting periods of thirty minutes, guided gentle yoga exercises, walking meditation, as well as a period of mindful work. There will be Dharma-talks and personal interviews are offered.
We start at 2 p.m. on Saturday and end the day at 9 p.m. On Sunday we begin at 8 a.m and end the retreat at 4 p.m.
